SDG 12: Responsible Consumption And Production
Sustainable Developmental Goal 12 (SDG 12) aspires to ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns.
The total material footprint (MF) is the sum of the material footprint for biomass, fossil fuels, metal ores and non-metal ores, measured in tonnes per person per year.
In 2010, the Commonwealth average was 3.91kg/$. Of the countries that have published their material consumption rates for 2010, Trinidad and Tobago had the lowest material footprint, with 0.3kg/$.
