Thanks to a partnership between the governments of Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia and Indonesia, the ‘Heart of Borneo’ project took shape a few years to protect one of the largest and most biodiverse rainforests one earth. As a result, many species that were on the verge of extinction are thriving again and the forests are being sustainably managed by the three countries now.
The Association has established itself as a collective of young entrepreneurs who aim to foster youth leadership within Brunei and find innovative solutions to growing local businesses.
The Institute is the leading centre of research and training on leadership and innovation in Brunei Darussalam. Based at the University of Brunei Darussalam, the Institute promotes networking between government, business, academics and society to solve business, technological and social challenges.
