The e-Government Strategic Action Plan 2014 – 2018 for Namibia aims to improve public service delivery and accountability to its citizens. The Action Plan contains 15 strategic objectives to provide transparent, affordable and efficient services to all.
Namibia submitted its first Voluntary National Review on the Sustainable Development Goals in 2018 to the United Nations High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development. The report tracks the progress Namibia has made so far towards each of the 17 SDGs and 169 targets.
The Namibia Business Innovation Institute at the Namibia Institute of Science and Technology supports innovation and social development through targeted workshops and mentoring for young entrepreneurs.
The Innovation and Industrial Research Division supports the government’s national programme to encourage innovation and technology development. It has established an Innovation Hub to provide resources, networking opportunities and advice for entrepreneurs and local businesses.
